It started with Lee's grandad, Arthur Cowan. After returning from World War II, he set up his farm down the road from his family farm in the King Country, Waikato. Along with his wife, Pat, they worked tirelessly to protect Aotearoa's native bush, animals and birds. Their home, Avalon, named for Arthur and Knights of the Round Table, was built beside the bush; protected and beautiful. For Lee, it came to represent a safe place of community, clarity and living to your values. Three elements she now brings to her business. 

After many years working at local and regional government and community-good organisations, Lee started consulting in 2020, working with some amazing people and organisations and bringing onboard Bron and Elias that year. We have the dream team!
